Irish Coffee

Irish Coffee recipe
Irish Coffee

IRISH COFFEE - Was originated when Joe Sheridan, a bartender at Foynes Airbase in Ireland, invented the drink in 1942. After an eighteen-hour journey over the Atlantic Ocean on a cold winter, a group of passengers stopped by the bar. So that the passengers could warm shortly Sheridan brewed hot coffee, added just a little whiskey, and offered the concoction to the travelers. In accordance with legend, one in all several passengers requested him, 'Is this Brazilian coffee'? And Joe laughed and mentioned, 'No, that is Irish coffee'
